Our Mission Statement

At MATRIX we teach the players to be successful on and off the court. The “Champion” attitude is grounded in support, honed by hard work, and finished with cooperation.

We all want our kids to be successful. With that they must have communication skills, drive, and mental toughness.

Playing sports teaches all of these. MATRIX is a place for kids to find a support system outside the home to help them reach their goals on and off the court.

We have the top coaches in South Mississippi, and we use the Gold-Medal Squared System to teach proven fundamental volleyball skills (the GMS System is used by some of the top programs in the country as well as the US National Volleyball Team and the US Olympic Team). 

At MATRIX we develop well-rounded student athletes, who will take these skills into college and/or into their everyday life. The skills learned at MATRIX will equip players to be better students and people moving forward in life. 

Who is Mississippi Matrix?

• 15 year established youth volleyball club
   
• Top-level coaching respected within the growing region and producing the largest college class of athletes in the state of Mississippi in 2020.
   
• Branches established in Gulfport and due to large growth expanded to Hattiesburg within the last 5 years.
   
• Host of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Open one of the largest tournaments in the South with 200+ teams
